Strips of differing widths and colors, embroidered with the tightly woven, continuous Punto Cordonetto stitch. Choose the colors of the upper felt strips (max. 4 colors), lower felt (if desired), and internal stitch. All felt rugs are made of woven pure virgin wool. Specially created for Paola Lenti, the felt is soft yet durable, fire-resistant and moth-proof, will not pill or abrade, and can safely be used in humid environments. Choose from 48 available colors. Modules are available in 12”, 19.5” and 39” squares, and may be combined to create a variety of designs. Custom sized modules are also available. “Punto Cavallo” border and interior stitching is a highly resistant, long-fiber 100% polyester thread, available in 26 colors.
